Next December i would like to visit New Caledonia with my friends, a tiny tropical South Pacific island, a paradise kissed by sun with a fascinating culture.
We can admire this great natural beauty, these untouched clear waters, beaches around flowers, trees, waterfalls and archaeological remains.
Besides we could choose between a wide variety of excursions, leisure activities and sports such as scubadiving, horse-riding, trekking, fishing, parachute jumping, kayak, canyoning, windsurfing, quad car driving or snorkelling.
We will begin our journey in the city of arrival, Noumea, the capital, famous for the Aquarium, centre of marine scientific research and its museums with collection of native handicraft.
We are going to visit the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, where tradition and modernism blend together in harmony, with exhibition rooms showing art from the Pacific region; here we can buy local items include curios made of shells, coral, ceramics, hand-painted materials.
In the following days we are going to visit the Botanical and Zoological Gardens, the home of several native species, such as the cagou, notou, various birds, monkeys and baboons.
Finally we will go to the enchanting Isle of Pines, reknowned as the jewel of the Pacific, Oro and Kuto Bay, others beautiful undiscovered beaches. I think it will be an unforgettable holiday for me and for my friends.
All these and much more are just waiting for us.
